Constantine I the Great (AD 307-337). AV solidus (18mm, 4.46 gm, 6h). NGC Choice VF 5/5 - 2/5, ex mount. Ticinum, AD 315. CONSTANTI-NVS P F AVG, laureate head of Constantine I right / VIRTVS-AVGV-STIN, Constantine I galloping on horseback right, right hand raised, large shield in left; three slain soldiers below, spears lodged in their bodies, SMT in exergue. RIC VII, 35 (this coin). Extremely rare and sure to invite spirited bidding from collectors of Constantinian era coinage.
