MACEDONIAN KINGDOM. Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC). AR tetradrachm (29mm, 16.11 gm, 4h). Choice VF, edge chips. Late lifetime-early posthumous issue of uncertain mint in Cilicia, by Philip III Arrhidaeus, under Philotas or Philoxenos, ca. 325-320 BC. Head of Heracles right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied before neck / AΛEΞANΔPOY-BAΣIΛEΩΣ, Zeus seated left on backless throne, left leg drawn back, feet on ground line, eagle in right hand, scepter in left; wreath in left field, ΔI below throne.
