Qing Dynasty. Uncertain Yuansi Changyuankezi ("Fine Silk Oval")? Sycee of 1 Tael ND Certified AU58 by Gong Bo Grading, cf. Cribb-Class LXXXV. 34mm. 36.8gm. Blank face. A somewhat peculiar ingot, quite similar in appearance to the Yuansi Changyuankezi, although, as Cribb notes, those pieces were cast in oval, rather than round molds. The nearest piece illustrated in Cribb's catalog is a Fujian Yuanbing (Cribb-Class LXXIX), though pieces of similar type illustrated on Tai's website Sycee Online have a noticeably different appearance.
