French Colony Piastre 1895-A MS64 PCGS, Paris mint, KM5a.1, Lec-277. Second variety with weight as 27 grams. Lustrous throughout, the surfaces displaying ever so subtle touches of honeyed toning. Scarce in this grade, with no examples seen by either PCGS or NGC exceeding the MS65 mark.
