A relatively lightly handled example of this important relic of the Japanese extension into China, of which, owing to the fact that they were primarily held as accounting pieces by the Japanese-controlled Bank of Manchukuo, few would have entered circulation. The damage noted on the holder refers to a minor edge bump around 5 o'clock, although the offering still retains a good degree of detail.
