Fengtien. Kuang-hsü Mule 50 Cents Year 25 (1899) AU50 NGC, Fengtien Machinery Bureau mint, KM-Y86, L&M-479, Kann-249a, WS-0593, Wenchao-779 (rarity 3 stars). Variety with Year 25 in Chinese characters on reverse (obverse as pictured), and Year 24 in Manchu on the other side. A very rare mule issue from this already quite difficult Chinese province, with a total of only 7 pieces presently certified in the NGC census. For reference, we note that a PCGS AU53-certified specimen recently brought an incredible $40,000. Ex. Wa She Wong Collection
