Believed by Cribb to have been used in Buddhist offerings on the basis of their imagery. By all indications an extremely rare type--we have been able to locate only a single other example, which brought $2750 in April 2012. This lot has not yet been assigned a grade, as it will be submitted to Gong Bo for certification before the auction.
