Qing Dynasty. Yunnan Liangchuo Paifangding ("Two-Stamp Tablet") Sycee of 10 Taels ND (c. 19th-20th Century), Cribb-LXXII.C.1031. 50x44mm. 372.07gm. Cast by silversmith Xu Guang. Stamped in two sections, the top reading: "Meng Hua Ke" (Menghua Subprefecture Tax), and the bottom reading: "Yin Jiang Xu Guang" (silversmith: Xu Guang). Very rare and heavily coveted, the characters sharply executed with champagne toning in the recesses of the stamps and even faint die polish lines discernable. This lot has not yet been assigned a grade, as it will be submitted to Gong Bo for certification before the auction.
