Qing Dynasty. Kwangtung Fangcaoding ("Square Trough") Sycee of 10 Taels ND (19th-20th Century), cf. Cribb-Class LVII.A. 60x44mm. 377.84gm. Cast at Cheng Bank. Stamped in three sections on the face, the central stamp reading: "Cheng Ji" (Cheng Bank), and the stamps to either side reading: "Zhen Xiang" (smith or foundry name). Stamped on either side, with the first four characters reading: "Guo Huo Wei Zhen" (Inspected by public assayer as genuine), we have been unable to make out the other four characters. Slightly doubled in the stamps, though with original patina and minimal handling. This lot has not yet been assigned a grade, as it will be submitted to Gong Bo for certification before the auction.
