An interesting pair of uniface "Printer's Essay" notes created by the Security Banknote Company, they are especially desirable in such an elite grade. Hole punched cancellations, printer notations and red overprints are seen. This scarce design is similar to the other 500,000 Custom Gold Units of 1949, but the design elements and color schemes are adjusted. These are only available in prototype form and therefore desirable.
