Nova Scotia. Victoria bronze Specimen "Mayflower" 1/2 Penny Token 1856 SP65 Brown NGC, Br-876, NS-5A1, Haxby-Unl. Medal alignment. A superb specimen showcasing a full gem quality state of preservation over surfaces toned to a glossy brown, the peripheries outlined in light touches of original mint red. Very scarce in this quality, and the finest seen by NGC to-date. Adopted obverse (Haxby die SH-2): No L.C.W. below bust, bust tip ends even with the 1 of the date; pointed upper left serifs of NN of BRITANNIAR.
