MACEDONIAN KINGDOM. Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC). AR tetradrachm (26mm, 2h). NGC XF. Posthumous issue under Seleucus I, uncertain mint 6A in Babylonia, ca. 311-305 BC. Head of Heracles right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied before neck / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ-ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ, Zeus enthroned left, left leg drawn back, feet on stool, eagle in right hand, scepter in left; inverted anchor and EP in left field, HYP monogram in wreath below strut.
