Intricately designed borders and multicolored deep inks grace the front of this Specimen, while an an intense vignette of a steam train highlights the back. Printed by The American Banknote Company for the Harbin branch, these examples were used by the Chinese Eastern Railway. Russian text appears on this series, which is highly unusual for Chinese issues .A red Specimen overprint and four POCs are present.
