Madagascar Banque de Madagascar 100 Francs 13.2.1893 (ND 1926) Pick 34 PMG Very Fine 30. A spectacular, grand sized note with soft violet inks. The front of this issue has two delightful seated allegorical women on each side of seated Mercury. The back of this example has an allegorical man sitting on an anvil with a hammer along with two allegorical women, one sitting on wheat and the other sowing coins from a cornucopia. Third party grading company annotates this note has rust and a repair, which do not detract from the beauty of this example.
