Afghanistan Bank of Afghanistan 500 Afghanis ND (1939) / SH1318 Pick 27s Specimen PMG Choice Very Fine 35. A colorful example from the first issue for the bank. The central vignette is a portrait of King Muhammad Zahir. This is the second rarest denomination for the series, only eclipsed by the 20 Afghanis denomination. PMG mentions a small paper pull and printer's annotations. They also comment "Good Color," which is evidently displayed throughout this large sized note.
