Iran Kingdom of Persia, Imperial Bank 2 Tomans 11.5.1931 Pick 12n Teheran PMG Very Fine 30. An absolutely appealing example of this early design featuring a portrait of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar is featured on the front. The third party grading company mentions this note has been lightly retouched although, all colors seem to contrast wonderfully. Two toman notes were actually not a popular denomination, and hence were not issued in large amounts. A Tehran issuance stamp is seen on this early example from the second series of the Imperial Bank of Persia. From the Yuri Solovey Collection of Persia and the Middle East
