Iran Kingdom of Persia, Imperial Bank 2 Tomans ND (1890-1923) Pick 2 PMG About Uncirculated 53 Net. Today we are offering two unusually high grade issued 2 Tomans. They feature the B/C prefix, indicating they were issued in or around 1908. As one of the earlier issues, they lack the payable location overprint, and the serial numbers are in red, not black. The distinctly different serial numbering, would lead Persian specialists to seek after this as a different type than the latter issues. This note is the marginally nicer of the two. Both incredible in their own right, despite some reconstruction noted by PMG. That said, the two notes here represent the two finest examples in the PMG Population Report.
