Surprisingly, this early A/1 prefix design issued under the Currency Act in 1930 and printed by Waterlow & Sons has survived the humid weather conditions of the islands. Stimulating guilloche designed borders and bold colors remain on this circulated example. This lovely design includes the portrait of King George V on the front and the coat of arms on its back.
