Hadrianus (117-138) - AE As (Rome AD 119, 10.00 g) - IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG Laureate bust right / PONT MAX T R POT COS III Britannia seated facing, holding sceptre, large shield to right (BRITANNIA in ex.) (RIC 577b / BMCRE 1175) - a.VF. The first representation of Britannia on Roman Coinage, thus very rare.
