Macedonian Kingdom. Philip II. Silver Tetradrachm (13.91 g), 359-336 BC. Amphipolis, ca. 307-297 BC. Laureate head of Zeus right. Reverse: ΦIΛIΠ-ΠOY, youth on horseback right, holding palm branch; below horse's belly, Λ above race torch; below raised foreleg, monogram. Le Rider pl. 47, 20; SNG ANS 784-7.
