EGYPT, PHARAOH NEKTANEBO II, 361-343 BC, Æ15, Leaping ram/scales; Strong VF, smooth dark patina with earthen hilighting, rev a little off-ctr. The only non-gold coin attributed to Pharaonic Egypt — tho some evidence suggests a more prosaic Syrian attribution. Take your pick. (A VF sold for $5423, Gorny 3/07; AVF realized $351 on $502 bid, in my auction 4/22.)
