AKRAGAS , Cast Æ Tetras, "tooth-shaped," c.440-430 BC, Eagle stg l/crab/4 pellets on base; ex-Naville auction as GVF, the devices hazy as always, but the 4 pellets very bold & EF; dark greenish patina; smooth surfaces. Decades ago I had a satiric article in Coin World about "3-sided" ancient coins; but this really is such a thing. (A VF brought $426, M&M 6/14; F or + $166 on $275 bid in my 9/15 sale.)
