Julia Soemias (mother of Elagabalus), 218-222. AR Denarius (18.8 mm, 2.92 g.), Rome mint. IVLIA SOAEMIAS AVG, draped bust to right. Rev. VENVS CAELESTIS, Venus seated left, holding apple and scepter; child at feet. BMCRE 56; RSC 14; RIC IV.2, 243 (Elagabalus). Good very fine, with a nice portrait.
