Thessaly, Kierion, circa 400-360 BC. AR Hemiobol (8 mm, 0.37 g.). Laureate head of Zeus to left, behind head, stylized thunderbolt. Rev. Κ-Ι Head of the nymph Arne to right, her hair bound in a sakkos. BCD Thessaly I, 1069. HGC 4, 674. Traité II, 4, 514 = HN² p. 293. The obverse with the face of Zeus of centered the rear part of the head especially the interesting stylization of the thunderbolt still very well visible. The Reverse perfectly centered with an archaic portrait of the nymph Arne. About very fine. Rare.
