Mesopotamia, Hatra, first half of 2nd. Century AD. (25mm, 13,01 g.). Radiate head of the sun god Shamash right. Rev. Large, retrograde SC; above, eagle standing right, head left, with wings spread; all within laurel wreath. SNG Copenhagen 232. Ex Gorny & Mosch 2024/1, Lot 134. Very fine.
