Ionia, Teos, Civic issue. 320-294 BC. AR Diobol (9mm, 0,93 g.). Dioyches magistrate. Griffin seated right with left paw raised. Rev. ΔΙΟΥΧΗΣ, magistrate's name vertically downwards to left of chelys (lyre). SNG.Kayhan.612v.Cf. SNG Copenhagen 1461 ff.; SNG Copenhagen 1461 ff. Slightly off-center, otherwise about good very fine with a nice old cabinet tone.
