Thracian region an imitation of an issue from Thasos Circa 400-350 BC. AR Trihemiobol (11mm, 0,54 g.) . Satyr running left, holding kantharos. Rev. ΘAΣ-ION (retrograde and slightly barbaric style) Volute krater with tall handles. Stylistically very close to Numismatik Naumann (formerly Gitbud & Naumann) Auction 14, lot 8. With a nice old cabinet tone, about good very fine. Very fine. More likely to be a Thracian-Odrysian imitation, instead of the Celtik imitation like is officially known also according the types related to the Thracian king Saratokos. The Celtic invasion is also later according to the minting this type.
