Eastern Celtic Tribes, imitating Macedonian king Philip II 'Baumreiter subtype'. AR Tetradrachm (22mm, 13,94g.). 3rd century BC. Celticised, bearded head wearing reversed laurel wreath to right. Rev. Rider on horseback to left, wearing helmet with large crest. Göbl, OTA pl. 13, type 140. Struck from a somewhat worn obverse die, otherwise with a pleasant and well visible reverse. Some scratches, otherwise, about very fine. Interesting symbol in front of the rider.
