Constantinus X Ducas (1059-1067 AD). Gilded Histamenon-Suberat/ Foure (26,5mm, 3,49 g), Constantinople, ca. 1062-1065 AD. +IhS XIS RЄX RЄςNANTҺIm, Christ Pantokrator enthroned facing. Rev. +KωN RAC Λ O ΔOVKAC, Constantine standing facing, holding labarum with pellet on shaft and globus cruciger. DOC 1; S. 1847. Contemporary forgery, with absolutely correct style to the golden one. Almost fully preserved golden surface on the obverse and some areas of missing the golden surface on the top parts of the reverse. Good Very Fine. Scarce.
