MYSIA. Parion. Gallienus (253-268 AD.) Æ (20,5 mm., 5,01 g.) ΑVT ΓΑΛΛΙΕΝΟC, laureate head right Rev. CHIPshe-wolf right, suckling the twins Remus and Romulus. Good Very Fine. SNG France 1528-30. Curious the obverse legend is in greek despite the city of Parim was a roman colony and the latin used as the official language. The text is not sloppy like many example from this city obverse legend is still readable (in greek). Rare.
