Macedon, temp. Philip V – Perseus. Ca. 196-168 BC. Æ (19,5mm, 8,08 g.). Amphipolis mint. Wreathed head of Strymon right. Rev. Ornate trident head; monograms flanking base. Touratsoglou, Macedonia 8; SNG Copenhagen 1298-9 var. Rarely seen in this condition, glossy olive green natural patina. Highly interesting styliyation of the portrait. Extremely Fine.
