On the reverse, inscription in the centre 'AL CAVALIERE MAURIZIANO VERCELLINO MARIO (in relief) PER DIECI LUSTRI NELLA CARRIERA MILITARE BENEMERITO'. On the border 'Medaglia coniata con bronzo dei cannoni tolti al nemico 1915-1918 – R. D. 25 marzo 1920”. On neck ribbon. This lot belonged to Mario Vercellino, Army General and Aide-de-Camp to Victor Emmanuel III of Savoy (1941-1942). He was commander of the 9th and 4th armies.
