PB Byzantine seal of Nikephoros Theodorokanos patrikios and strategos (1025 – 1055)
Obv: Half-length of St George holding a spear over his right shoulder and a shield with his left arm. Inscription on either side: [ὁ ἅ(γιος) Γεώ]ργιο(ς). Border of dots.
Rev: Inscription of six lines: [Κ(ύρι)ε β(οή)θ(ει) τ]ῷ σ(ῷ) δού(λῳ) [Νι]κηφόρο [π(ατ)]ρι(κίῳ) (καὶ) στρα[τ(η)]γ(ῷ) τῷ Θεο[δ]ω[ρ(ο)κά]ν(ῳ). Border of dots.
Translation: Lord, help your servant Nikephoros Theodorokanos patrikios and strategos.
