PB Byzantine seal of Hadrian, notarios (AD 9th century)
Obv: Cruciform invocative monogram (type VIII): Κ(ύρι)ε βοήθει; in the quarters: τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. Wreath border.
Rev: Inscription of three lines: +Ἀδριανῷ νοταρίῳ. Wreath border.
Translation: Lord, help your servant Hadrian, notarios.
Weight: 12.40 g.
Diameter: 28.37 mm.
