PB Byzantine lead seal of Sergios patrikios and strategos (c. AD 7th–8th centuries)
Obv: Inscription of three lines, a cross above: + Κύριε ὁ Θεὸς βοήθη. Wreath border.
Rev: Inscription of four lines, a cross above: + Σεργίῳ πατρικ[ί]ῳ (καὶ) στρ[ατ]ηγῷ. Wreath border.
Translation: Lord God, help Sergios, patrikios and strategos.
Parallel, Doaks, BZS.1947.2.546 (strategos?).
Since our example is better preserved than the parallel, it certify Sergios' office of strategos.
