★ Very Rare. This is the third and best preserved specimen! ★

Troas, Abydus. Trajan, AD 98–117. AE. 2.96 g. 15.57 mm.
Obv: ΤΡΑΙΑ[Ν] ΚΑΙϹΑΡ (retrograde). Bare head of Trajan, r.
Rev: ΑΒΥ. Cult statue of Ephesian Artemis (without supports) on base.
Ref: Just added to RPC Online as the second and better preserved specimen: RPC III, 1554A. Our
coin allows the attribution to Trajan as the best preserved specimen.
Very Rare.
Good Very Fine.
