Thrace, Sestus. Severus Alexander, AD 222-235. AE. 3.53 g. 19.32 mm.
Obv: ΑΥ Κ Μ ΑΥ ΑΛƐΞΑΝΔΡΟϹ. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Severus Alexander, right.
Rev: ϹΗϹΤΙΩΝ. Apollo(?) nude standing facing, head left, holding branch and bird.
Ref: Just added to RPC Online as the second and better preserved specimen: RPC VI, 1142
(temporary).
