Description

Thrace, Perinthus. Pseudo-autonomous, AD 2nd century. AE. 6.78 g. 23.92 mm.
Obv: Head of Dionysus, right crowned with ivy.
Rev: ΠΕΡΙΝΘΙΩΝ. Demeter veiled standing left, holding two ears of corn in right hand, left resting on long sceptre.
Ref: RPC 721; Schönert-Geiss, Perinthos 118-9.
