Russia 15 Kopecks 1761 - Novodel of a Trial issue - Elizabeth (1741-1762) - NGC UNC DETAILS
Only 2 coins certified by NGC. Polished, but still attractive exemplar with perfect relief details. Bitkin H572 R2. Extremely rare! Novodel (restrike) of the 1761 15-kopeck coin of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna - a trial issue struck after the original date. Genuine coins of this denomination were not minted during Elizabeth's reign, as the 15-kopeck denomination officially appeared only under Catherine II. This restrike is highly rare and valued by collectors.
