A cleaned but visually pleasing piece featuring strong relief details, residual luster, and gentle toning. Group IV.
Obv.: King on horseback, riding to left, with sword raised in right hand; mintmark ‘triangle in circle’; “CAROLVS·D'.G'.MAG'.BRI'.FRA'.ET·HIB'.REX·” Rev.: Garnished oval shield of arms, quartered; mintmark ‘triangle in circle’; “CHRISTO AVSPICE·REGNO”. Spink 2779; North 2214.
