Domitian. As Caesar, AD 69-81. AV Aureus (20mm, 7.21 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Titus, AD 80-81. CAESAR DIVI F DOMITIΛNVS COS VII, laureate head right / PRINCEPS IVVENTVTIS, garlanded and lighted altar, with horns left and right. RIC II 265 (Titus); Calicó 918 ( this coin illustrated ); BMCRE 91 (Titus); BN 74 (Titus); Biaggi 430 ( this coin ); Jameson –; Mazzini –. A few light scratches on reverse. Near EF. Well centered and struck on a broad flan.
