Bust of Maria Theresia right. (SF below truncation)
Rev: ARCHID AVST DUX BURG CO TYR.
Imperial eagle facing, with head left and wings spread; crown above and coat of arms on breast.

Condition: Extremely very fine.
Weight: 28 g.
Diamete: 40.80 mm.
Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christina was ruler of the Habsburg dominions from 1740 until her death in 1780, and the only woman to hold the position in her own right.
She was Queen of Hungary and Bohemia and Archduchess of Austria from 1740 until her death. She was also recognized as the Holy Roman Empress after her husband, Franz I, was elected Holy Roman Emperor. At the time of Maria Theresia, she was one of the most powerful women in the world. Holy Roman Emperor II. She was the mother of Leopold and the French Queen Marie Antoinette, who was executed in the French Revolution.
