KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). AR, Tetradrachm. Arados. Struck under Ptolemy I Soter as satrap, ca.330-320 BC.
Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied before neck.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ.
Zeus Aëtophoros seated left with eagle and sceptre; AP (civic) monogram in left field.
Price 3426 (Byblos); Müller 1375.
Condition: VF.
