KINGS OF MACEDON. Antigonos I Monophthalmos. As Strategos of Asia, (320-306/5 BC.). AR Drachm. Sardes. In the name and types of Alexander III. Struck circa 318-315 BC.
Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ.
Zeus Aëtophoros seated left, legs crossed, holding eagle and sceptre. Control: Monogram KΩ in left field; HAΘ monogram below throne.
Price 2682 corr. (monogram below throne).
Condition: Fine.
