ANONYMOUS FOLLES. Class C. Attributed to Michael IV (1030-1050 AD). Constantinople.

Half-length figure of Christ standing facing, wearing nimbus cruciger, pallium and colobium and raising right hand in benediction; in left hand, book of gospels.
Rev: IC - XC / NI - KA.
Jewelled cross, with pellet at each extremity.
Sear 1825.
Condition: Very fine.
Weight: 13.85 g.
Diameter: 28 mm.
