KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Tetradrachm. Uncertain mint in Greece and Macedon. Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin. Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ. Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre; no controls or symbols. Price 844. Condition: Extremely fine. Weight: 16.0 g. Diameter: 25 mm.
