Anonymous iconographic byzantine lead seal.(11th cent.).

Obverse: The Mother of God standing in 3/4 praying posture (orans) to right before blessing Manus Dei (hand of God), wearing chiton and maphorion, sigla in the fields, ΜΡ-ΘΥ (Mother of God), dotted border.

Reverse: Inscription in 5 lines ending to decoration, ΤΙΝΟC/CΦΡΑΓΙ,/ΠΕΦΥΚΑ/ΤΙΝΓΡΑΦ/ΗΝΟΡ, = Τίνος σφραγὶς πέφυκα τὴν γραφὴν ὅρα (of whom I am the seal see the scripture), dotted border.

The legend on reverse consists a 12 syllable iambic verse.
