Sicily, Syracuse, Bronze under tyrant Hiketas II, ca. 288-278 BC; AE (g 7,67; mm 24; h 1); ΔIOΣ EΛΛANIOY, laureate head of Zeus Hellanios l., Rv. ΣYPAK - OΣIΩN, eagle standing l. on thunderbolt, with wings displayed. CNS II, 158.
Brownish patina; traces of overstricking on obverse, extremely fine.
