APULIAN YELLOW-SLIPPED EPICHYSIS
Late 4th - early 3rd century BC
height cm 28,5
Very rare example of yellow-slipped pottery. The fabric and the form are not so usual in Apulia manufacturing, in fact the yellow-slip typically occurs in oinochoai and paterae. Intact. Provenance: English private collection, according to the heirs possibly purchased in some auction or Art Gallery during 1970s-1980s.
