Petillius Capitolinus, Denarius, Rome, 41 BC. AR (g 3,87; mm 19; h 11). Eagle standing facing on thunderbolt, head r., with wings spread; PETILLIVS above, CAPITOLINVS below, Rv. The Capitoline Temple of Jupiter: richly decorated hexastyle façade with ornamented pediment and garlands hanging within three openings; S F across field. Crawford 487/2b; Petillia 3; Sydenham 1151.
